First of all, we wish to thank you all for your support, compassion and kindness over the past several months as we have worked to manage the complex and evolving COVID-19 situation. And now, it is with pride that I am able to share with you that, effective May 22, 2020, there are no active COVID-19 cases at Veranda — we consider the Facility to be presently free from the virus.

We write to update you all on the situation at Veranda Rehabilitation and Healthcare with respect to the COVID-19 situation. While we have attempted to keep you all updated on an individual basis via phone, we wanted to more formally share the status of our efforts to manage the spread of the virus and keep our residents and staff safe.
On March 14, 2020, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services advised of a nationwide restriction on visitation in skilled nursing facilities. Until further notice, we will be following this direction.
Please know that we are all fully engaged in taking action to minimize the possible exposure associated with this virus. We thank you for your continuing confidence, and for helping us in our attempts to keep our residents and staff safe.
